Summer sux

I have been meaning to write a post for a while, but after giving us a pretty comfortable Christmas summer has decided it was time to kick our asses. Today will be the fourth 40 degree (C) day in a row…104 for you Fahrenheit people. And though this should be last of the 40’s for a while the rest of the week is still supposed to roast us and frankly it’s all I can think about. I hate it. HATE. IT. So when things cool down I have, at least, two posts plus a holiday summary (maybe) up my sleeve. Until then I hope the new year finds you all happy, healthy and not hot.

  1. The clock just turned over here (and yes, I’m spending the first few minutes of 2008 online). Happy New Year!

Hope you get some cool weather soon!

  2. I hate it too. At least we can be glad it isn’t horridly humid (gotta look for the positives!).

    Happy New Year, bud!

  3. My brother is taking a 2-week trip, through his college, to Australia. He leaves tomorrow. I am SO freakin’ jealous.

    Happy New Year, dear!

  4. Hi, Sharkey and Happy New Year to you to you as well! The weather has cooled down a bit now, but we won’t get actual cool weather for a while me thinks.

Cafrine, right you are! Humidity is a killer. And a Happy New Year to you!

Kalki, oh wow! That’s exciting for your brother, I hope he has great time and that the weather isn’t so extreme when he is visiting. Happy New Year to you too!

  5. Happy New Year! I so hear you on the summer thing. We have three months here of 100+ degree weather, and I complain more every year. Hang in there.
