Extreme opposites

When I brought the vacuum out this afternoon one child* runs screaming to Dad, tears in her eyes saying “Cuddle me! Cuddle me!”, while the other stays with me the entire time and actually gives the vacuum two kisses.

Today I decided to vacuum before lunch while E was still up, and she loved it. Infact she followed me around and danced to the sound of the vacuum running (she also dances to printers, blenders, anything really).

I often have the “cuddle me, cuddle me!” reaction when the vacuum is used.
